Port Lympne Hotel and Reserve is a wildlife reserve and luxury hotel located in the county of Kent, in the southeast of England. The reserve covers over 600 acres of land and is home to over 800 rare and endangered animals from around the world, including Gorillas, Tigers, and many more.
We were commissioned to create a new map for an animal reserve that was easier for visitors to navigate than previous versions. The previous maps were confusing and visitors often got lost.
To solve this problem, we focused on creating a visually appealing and accurate representation of the reserve that was simple and informative. We made sure to include all the necessary information that visitors would need to navigate the reserve without any confusion.
After conducting initial testing with visitors, we received some great feedback. Over 90% of all respondents rated the map as good (34.72%) or excellent (55.56%), with an overall average satisfaction rating of 4.4 out of 5.
The results of our efforts are clear: the new map is easy to navigate and has successfully solved the problem of confusion among visitors. Visitors are now able to explore the animal reserve without getting lost and can fully enjoy all the reserve has to offer.
